How about Tony Vercelli losing to the Harvard guy in the finals. They both looked real tough.

Yeah, this matchup was a great one. As Flashy likes to say, you could "flip a coin" any time they wrestle. I would say this time around Haeflinger paced himself a little better. Vercelli is a very relaxed, defensive wrestler, and tonight it cost him against Haeflinger. For the 15 or so seconds that Vercelli did decide to be aggressive, it worked out well for him--he got a reversal. All in all, this match will be good for both wrestlers and should also make the one in February that much better.
