103- Rivera V. Brennan

If, you guys didn't know John Rivera from Elmwood Park is going to face off with Johnny Brennan, Rivera's only been wrestling for 2 years this is his third season,he stands 13-0, and probablly as fast as Brennan. But Brennan has teh 3/4 Nelson to Pancake, plus has more experiance. Does Rivera stand a chance against Brennan thursday at Niles?

Brennan's been pinned twice this year by Rothfeld of Stevenson and Flores of Wheeling. However, I have to give the edge of this match to Brennan because he has been facing tougher competition than Rivera. (he's also not talking himself up in forums)

Rivera is a good 103 lber. He qualified for state last year, and looked big then...I am surprised he is still at 103. He is one of those kids with a tall lanky build, pretty good double leg.

just so you all know he is not talking himself up. He is not like that. To be honest he realy shouldnt give a rats behind what is being said. Revera is a solid kid his one problem is competiotion. That being said he did wrestle off season and did very well will he beat brennan yes if brennan wrestles him.I predict brennan does not wreslte him.

rivera weighed 108 today and didnt wrestle brennan what happend? i thought this was gunna be a great match

Rivera beat the the Niles 112 pounder 10-7, either the Prospect coach saw that and didn't bump Brennan up to wrestle Rivera, because Rivera didn't wrestle Johnny. And Brennan wrestled a girl at 103. Then when it came to Niles, Prospects coach deicided to bump Brennan up to 112....hmmm, sounds like someone was ducking Rivera....oh and Brennan almost LOST to that same Niles kid the same night 8-7.

the 112 kid sounds tough from niles. he went up against 2 ranked kids. maybe they saw rivera wrestle and decided to keep the ranking. no offense to elmwood but who wants to lose to a small wrestling program. sounds like both are tough. maybe they will run into each other down state.
