He had performance anxiety and had to do well. I bet it gets your blood boiling when a whole stadium full of people yell corky when you go up to bat!:D

My hats off to Burhle. What a great performance. Its a shame he will not be a Sox pitcher next year. Stienbrenner has the money machine producing big money for him right now. He may not be a Sox pitcher by the deadline if they are out of the picture, and that is a shame after all he has done for the orginization and coming up through the system. Way to go Burhle!

Congrats Mark!

ON THE MARK: BUEHRLE NO-HITS RANGERS

White Sox left-hander Mark Buehrle threw a no-hitter Wednesday night in a 6-0 victory over the Rangers at U.S. Cellular Field, the first no-no since Florida's Anibel Sanchez no-hit the Diamondbacks on Sept. 6 last season and the first White Sox no-hitter since Wilson Alvaraz did it in a 7-0 win over the Orioles on Aug. 8, 1991

Steinbrenner will not go after Buerhle. Buerhle is St Louis bound, since he grew up in that area. If i was the Sox i would trade away some of these guys by the deadline. They are in HUGE trouble, they have a crazy amount of last year contract players on their team. Not to mention Jermaine Dye! But hey, you guys decided to pay the bum Vasquez 33 mill over 3 years, good move Kenny. HAHHAHA, whata joke.

You are crazy if you do not think that the Steibrenner and the Yankees would not put stock in a left handed pitcher who has over a 100 career wins. Though St Louis may be tempting for him I am saying this is going to be all about the money as he has already turned down an offer from the Sox. And guess who has the money? HMMMM Not St LOuis after they just built that new stadium. Why do you think they did not make many moves in the off season?

I think he stays in black and white. Especially if he has a banner year. The Sox are showing some serious signs of life. We will know after the Detroit series and if they do well then you can believe the no-no was the catalyst.

Sox wont give him a long term deal. He wants a 5 year deal, Reinsdorf wont go for that. Buerhle will not be in pinstripes(If you dont know what team i am talking about, please leave!) next year, i promise you that. He will be a Cardinal, NEW STADIUM=BIGGER BOOST IN REVENUE! Look at Sand Diego, struggling team, new stadium, new look, and MONEY!!! The Cards got the cash to burn. He has an outside chance to stay with the southsiders, but it is very unlikely.

next year are about as good as you and I pitching for em. Reinsdorf never likes to give pitchers long term deals. And how much is he worth 5 years 15 mil. NO way will he be at the cell
