I have been viewing for over a year and finally made my first post tonight. This is a great site. Lots of interesting opinions and humor.

I laugh alot when I am reading some of these threads. Last night somebody was ripping on Seek and Destroy, my stomach is still sore from laughing so much.

I had to step-up my game to match Twist an his treo.
I got a Motorola Q. Its the cheapest (not in quality from what i am experiencing) PDA than others, and the net and e-mail service is pretty cheap only 15 bucks a month.

I am a user of the Palm Treo... and yes I have been known to post from my phone as well... However, Ace's Q is a very nice phone as well.... but have posting capabilities...

I bought the Q could not fiqure it out returned it within 14 days, and was talked into this other one that had a key board, took that back in two days, and tried the tri /word, I couldnt handle that went to the tri palm , much easier but it was too big and i kept losing the litle stick,,,,so now me and my v cast razor are quite happy.If I need to go on line I have my laptop. I can't even turn on a TV if more than one remote.is involved.....gaaaah:eek: too confusing!

It took me about 2 days to figure out all the gadgets, probably still dont know them all about the Q.

i think I'm out of my league, technology is changing way to fast for me. I am banned from touching the remote at Pinnacle because I mess up the satelite... and the buttons on the "Q" are too small, I kept breaking my nails and no phone is worth that....

I just upgraded to the Palm Treo 755p from the Treo 650 and all I can say is Wow!...this is not a phone it is an experience...posting from the 655p is so easy...in addition to looking at TV, listening to music, accessing the internet, playing video, games, using as modem for my laptop and so much more...

I'm a Q man myself as well. Treo's are bulky. Q fits discreetly in a pocket. There are trade offs....no touch screen and the screen is smaller. It surfs great and posting, while not the easiest, is workable. Taking pics is a snap although the quality is marginal.
I'm with mamachase on the key sizes...but not because of the nails. My eyes can't always make out the letters in low light :eek: :( . I don't think the Treo would solve that one though...getting old is a b*(C&.
My wife has the new Blackberry...best at pics and email as far as I can tell. But their service is cost prohibitive if you're not on a corporate program.

We had an asst. Varsity coach that would answer and talk on his cell constantly during matches from his chair, it was annoying needless to say.

Have you tried teathering your Q? I couldnt figure it out. I ended up getting a phone card so I could go online, instead of teathering.When Im out and about.

Actually Twist, this thread was started by Wild ride to welcome new members , and to get them to participate in IM. I doubt she care's if it's high-jacked alittle, because it keeps it up toward the top. I think Moon was just pointing out another inconsistancy about which threads get delected locked and are made to stay on topic. Because they ( ACE & LOCK)went off topic talking about YOUR phone it's okay, but when SEEK started his , it wasn't.... That is what he's talking about ( just an observation) I dont mind if threads go off topic as long as they dont get personal. WE live in an ADD world these days , and it is hard to stay focused 24/7.
