Jimmy had surgery August 10th. He was very fortunate because there is a new experimental surgery and he met the profile. He had a bionic ligament made of titanium placed and his recovery has been remarkable so far. (Knock on wood) He is already running a 4:58 mile on the treadmill… I will keep you posted on his progress , but I have to tell you, I am truly amazed!

Mario went to a party the night after his surgery. What can you do at a party on crutches and a brace? Especially if you are not a drinker.

My experience is these ACL surgery's are so common place and the doctors do so many that they are fast becoming... for lack of a better word...easy. Titanium, huh...does that allow for a faster recovery time...and is there well I know there is ...so what is the percentage chance of rejection?...I know on my son's college team there were 5 wrestlers that had the same surgery...it is very common among college wrestlers...Jimmy's in the frat now...lol

What is his actual projected return to the mat date for live wrestling?...not competition...

Chances for rejection in Jimmy's case are very small, he didnt have any problem in 7th grade when they had to fill his ankle bone with artifical bone powder.

Not sure when he will return...sometime before the state series begins

Good luck to Jimmy on his return! It was a tough break but with the new surgical technique, sounds like he's got a lot of wrestling left in front of him. Toughness definitely runs in the family!

C'mon Shultzy..... It's GOSINSKI:D

If he makes 103, he will be very tough. He wrestled 101 in the IKWF state finals and 110 for FS state. He will defiantly have the size to make an impact but, cutting and hold that weight in High School is a lot different then the IKWF days. This will be one of his biggest challenges.

Here is a stab at OPRF's potential line-up:

103lbs: Brown
112lbs: Johnson (Ben Johnson's little bro)
119lbs: Hampton
125lbs: E. Coleman - IHSA 5th, Cadet Greco champ
130lbs: L. Coleman - IHSA 2nd
135lbs: Venerable
140lbs: Dengel
145lbs: ????
152lbs: Martin - SQ Greco AA
160lbs: Weir - SQ
171lbs: Brooks - 4th at sectionals..former IKWF all stater..ONLY a soph!!
189lbs: Milton
215lbs: Zager - former FILA Greco AA - missed last year w/injury
285lbs: Watkins

A lot of these guys had great off-seasons. It should be a pretty good team...last years team would have been even better without all the injuries.

lol...... :D I think he should first go after superman because the titanium ligament has a kryptonite coating to keep it from rusting - thus giving Jimmy an advantage.

Should be a pretty tough line-up. Conant will be the first test.
Wait a minute, you have Ellis Coleman HEAVIER than Lillashawn this year? Is that right?

I do like some of the speculation on this, but im not going to be surprised when this all changes. Only speculation wise i would like to see more. Then if the not best maybe a team that could woup a team that has been a team that has been the best or has been a team that is rough to beat. This thread is about the best i know, but what if somebody wanted to post a lineup that was speculation and not been the best would they be wrong if they wanted to throw one out there? Being only a guess it brings up many questions so i really don't see many willing to give much here inless they want to get some grief. I think the Canada lineup is kinda funny because really at this point it makes as about bunch of since as any else that is posted at this point maybe not because his are make believe but it would be great if those guys who believed in there teams felt like they could post them without a bunch of tough stuff.
