are you as ignorant as you sound on the message board. why do you want people to know about carlos. let them see him at state. let him the sleeper that no one knows about. he is good so let him wrestle and keep your mouth out of it. also mt zion is good, not a good duel team because of your holes in the line up but a good tournament team, and you feel the need to tell everyone about it why dont you save it for the mat. you dont want people to know who you are before state anyway. also how could you possibly know he is the hardest worker in the state. come on, you have seen kids like kylor sorenson who is in 6th grade and undefeated, and also wrestle all spring and summer on national teams. come on kid you are young and senseless.

I agree, when we see people say that a kid works harder than anyone in the state, i want to see them wrestle guys/girls that others consider the best, then they can talk..good post i definetely agree & we CaN see it on the mat at state..so they can think back to this then.

I don't think they are really questioning that he works hard. Most teams have their own worker. I think what they are trying to say (not as politely) is be careful about building him up too much because he may become a target. Too much hype makes it that much harder to lose. I've witnessed it.

Exactly, every team has an athlete who outruns or overpowers all the other wrestlers, the only way to be fair is to let them prove whos the best-of the-best on the mats and we'll see that at state, there are many talented wrestlers but they dont need us to build them up.

I thought if you wrestled any IKWF tournaments, you were not able to wrestle IESA.

Now, I have been around this sport for about 8 years now and I have seen all the hype that people build up on these boards and all you have to do is take a look at the IHSA boards, and see who everyone was talking about a week or so ago, and then take a look at the state tournament brackets, Big Bad Robbins who everyone said was going to walk the tournament is going to spend the rest of the weekend watching, and the same goes for Johnson and Tharpe and several others who were predicted to be a shoe in for the gold. So go ahead keep talking these guys up, let everyone know just how tough they are, and then let everyone laugh at you when they get it handed to them in Dekalb or maybe even regionals or sectionals by some kid that nobody has ever heard of.

exactly my thinking, you dont just not try against the kid ranked second in the state for a championship match, i know he won but come on, everyone trys in basically every match

In my personal opinion, wrestling is all or nothing. If your wrestling some one of that calliber and you are not trying, then that gets me thinking "is this kid(bokoski) really that good as in the kid(MT.zion) isnt trying and hes still winning". I'm not saying these kids are bad, as a matter of fact I think both kids have a great shot in taking home the title. Just my opinion.

exactlly, wrestling is all or nothing, you cant just not try, thatd be like laying on your back at the begging of your match, its not possiable
