With the season coming down the home stretch everyone has their favorites to win state and who is going to place in state but here are some people that have a chance to upset some people downstate and possibly take the whole thing

103-With Mcnaughton and Johnson in this weight class is is going to be hard for anyone to win it but Nallen from ND has a shot to win it.
112-Being the weakest weight class in the state it won't be hard for starzyk to walk away with this one.
119-neither Kennedy nor Fanthorpe will be lose unless they wrestle eachother
125-the top 3 kids in this weight are unbelievable but watch out for Kohlberg who is hungry from that double OT loss to aaron winning last year down state.
130- My pick here goes to Fitzenreider, after winning the devorak I don't know if any one is going to stop him.
135-Either Jordan or Robbins will win but watch out for the senior Paramski from libertyville he is tough.
140-This one is a toss up, whoever has the best tournament will win, anyone in the top 6 can win.
145-I would have to say Engwall is going to win it all but Jordan Mccabe proved he can beat the best after beating isacson 6-0 watch for him to make some noise downstate.

Ok. If these "predictions" are so bad, then insight (or incite) us with your better wisdom. We would like to hear it.

Chris Spangler and Zach Taylor are both ranked 5th. BTW, Lukanich is a 112 pounder now.

Wrestlingfan420, you’re correct about Paramski, he is tough! However I believe he will be at 140 lbs., or possible 145 lbs. I’m not sure at what weight he is certified, but doubt it is 135 lbs. That seems awfully light for a guy with his size. No question that he will be ‘in the mix’, and anyone who draws him as an opponent will have to be ‘on their game’. Exceptional athlete, good size, very quick on his feet, and is wrestling with a lot of confidence. He is a real contender.

Paramski from Libertyville did certify at 135. He wrestled 135 at the Dvorak and placed 3rd. I think he will be at 135 come regional time.
