IESA Team State

The IESA should consider incorporating a Team State Tournament just like the IHSA does. It would be fun and exciting and determine a true state champion. With 16 Regionals, the 16 champs would qualify for the team sectional competition. The sectionals could be held the tuesday after the state tournament at one of the 2 participating schools, and state the following weekend at a neutral site. Why don't they do this? Let me know what you guys think.

Yes, the season is quite lengthy. But what would one more week hurt? And most of the good kids keep wrestling right into the spring and summer tournaments.
