Senior 84 is going to be brutal. As someone else posted there will be 3 state champs. Brendan Murphy(Vit) is a 2X Sr state Champ. Joey Uccardi(MFVE) is a 2X Nov State Champ. Andy Spangler(FV) is a Nov State Champ/Tulsa National runner-up. Should be interesting to see where they bracket out for the State Tournament.
I was thinking Senior 130 was going to be as brutal but, Larson(OPP) has made a few of them run to 122 and 138.

I think there is at least one more at 147 from the Wheaton Tigers. I don't know for sure, but I saw him beat Justin in an awsome match.
hahahahahaha

No way Dwyer wins this weight. He is tough, but I don't think he can beat anybody out of the WC sectional. Gonzales and Foreman are both studs. But, Dwyer will probably win it next year, seeing as he is a 7th grader. He'll have a tough time with Gaul at the sectional. But, 138 is the most wide open weight. There are about 5 guys that could win this weight.
I am out...

Who are the two from Honenegah that will repeat and what weight are they at, I'm assuming that one is Dwyer.

I would like to clarify Gaul vs Dwyer
1st period -No points scored (2 bulls were battling head to head)
2nd period Gaul defers to Dwyer. Dwyer gets reversal and rides gaul out.
3rd period- The score was 2-0 Dwyer. Gaul choses feet. Forgot to mention Dwyer Got a stalling call from backing up on feet. Gaul was the more aggresive wrestler but couldn't finish his takedowns. Dwyer scores a takedown on a bad shot by Gaul and some good defense by Dwyer. Dwyer then gets Gaul in the legs and turks him for 3 in the last 35 seconds. Match Over. I know this meeting won't be the last. Gaul was out since Feb 4th with partially torn cartilage on his knee. Nothing way serious but painfull and he is out of shape. I just thought the people would like to know how the match really went.

After 228 posts I'm not sure that "enough said" is a very accurate statment. And your right a 1-0 win is the same as a 7-0 win or a 10-0 win and so on. Good luck to each and every one of the North Section kids that Qualified. Now its time for some fun.

147 weight class will be very tough this year at the finals. Pena and Ringo are definitely good but take a good look at the kid from Hoffman Estates -Pettit. He's wrestled tough all year. He also beat some of the tougher 152 lbs kids as well.
Good luck to everyone this year in Rockford

@ 138 I haven't seen Dweyer any where, but 2 Kids from west chicago beat Gual, Brendan Griffin, @ yorkville Early in the season and Dominick Shmidt beat him @ the kids open. Shmidt did not qualify, placing 4th.
West Chicago: 1st Isaha Gonzalez
2nd Brendan Griffin
3rd Joe Foreman
The competition will be fierce in this weight class

I think the toughest bracket will be Senior 138.
In Senior 130 Logsdon hands it to Larson.

Not so sure about your 130 prediction...

Do you think Larson can beat Logsdon????
He did beat him once this year but Logsdon improves every time he steps on the mat.

Not going to make that call... I see Larson wrestle on a regular basis... he is a machine, and still has a chip about not winning it all last year...
This will certainly be a match to enjoy... if it actually happens...
