No way is that Harjoia kid from Morris going 112. I've seen him this year and he is pretty big. Tall, lanky, and strong - he'd be a HUGE 112 pounder. He wrestled 125 at a tournament last week! He was at 119 on Tuesday and Saunders from Geneva bumped up to wrestle him. He killed Saunders 7-2 and just about pinned him.

Now all this is assuming he has already wrestled 112 once this season (like the rankings indicate.) Under IHSA rules, once he competed at 125 he lost his eligibility to wrestle 112. Even if he only weighed 119 or under and competed at 125! He cannot wrestle more than one weight class up after he has competed at his lowest scratch weight.

As long as he weighed in at 119 he can still bump up 1 weight and wrestle 125 and still be eligible for 112. I agree though that he is a huge 12lber.

First, Burim wrestled at 112 at the Pontiac Tournament. Second, as long as he weighed in at 119 or less he can wrestle whatever weight he wants. What amazes me is that they do not bump Castro from 119 to 125, instead of Hajroja from 112 to 125. It means one of two things. You figure it out.
