Attention Wrestling Coaches
Kishwaukee Wrestling Club 2005
WHAT:
Technique and Training sessions, where wrestlers can improve their Folkstyle, Greco-Roman and Freestyle skills.
GOALS:
· Advanced techniques, drilling and conditioning
· Develop positive self-image, create new friendships
· Promote strong relations with the university and area communities.
TRAINING SITES:
Place: Northern Illinois University Wrestling Room (west side of stadium)
Dates: Every Tuesday and Thursday beginning March 29 – May 12
Times: 5:30-7:30 pm.
COSTS:
$ 50.00 for each wrestler, all wrestlers must provide or purchase a USA Wrestling card for insurance purposes.
TOURNAMENTS:
The Kishwaukee WC will attend 4-5 tournaments as a team through out the program.
Wrestlers are required to provide transportation and pay for their entry fees. The dates, times and directions will be provided. At least one member of the coaching staff will be at the tournament
6th GRADE AND UP:
Wrestlers must live within a 50-mile radius of NIU. For wrestlers in 8th grade or below, the 50-mile radius does not apply. Therefore, 8th graders may participate regardless of where individual resides.
COACHES:
Coaching staff Jason Hayes, Scott Owen and JD Oliva, current and former team members, along with area Freestyle / Greco coaches will supervise and coach all training sessions.
