I'd like to be the first to welcome the IKWF newest team the WEST CARROLL THUNDER WC to Illinois youth wrestling.

It's a new school district, this year it was Thomas, Savanna, and Mt Carroll school districts.

The new West Carroll HS will be in Savanna formerly Savanna HS (600 max cap.), middle school will be in Mt Carroll former Mt Carroll HS (new school but can not hold 600 students if needed) and the former Thomas HS will be a grade school or rec center. Wrestling in Savanna, basketball in Mt Carroll, footbal in Mt Carroll, volleyball in Mt Carroll, baseball in Mt Carroll, softball in Savanna, cross country in Savanna, track in Mt Carroll. This makes their school the largest in the conferance and they should do very well in all athletics under West Carroll Consolidated School District.
