Entry Fees: If received by Nov. 1, 2008 - $18.00 , If received after Nov 1 and before Nov. 28th 2008 - $21.00
Walk-ins will be taken at $25.00. All weight changes will be $5.00.
Wrestlers may wrestle additional division for an additional $10.00, with no guaranteed rest time.
Payments: Make checks payable to “Hawks Wrestling”
Weigh-ins: Friday November 28th (Bantam, Midget, Junior & Schoolboy) 7a.m. thru 8:30 a.m.
Saturday November 29th (Cadet, Elite & Open) 7a.m. thru 8:30 a.m.
Limit: 500 Wrestlers per day maximum. After our limit, wrestlers will be turned away
Eligibility: Age as of the date of the tournament. Grades shall be for the 2008/2009 school year.
Multiple Entries: Wrestlers will be allowed to enter 2 divisions with 2 entry forms and fees paid.
Equipment: Headgear and Singlets will be required.
Rules: Modified National High School Rules. MWOA officials shall enforce the rules. In case
of a challenge, both wrestlers must provide proof of age.
Misconduct:Tobacco, drug, or alcohol use, child abuse, misconduct towards
staff/officials shall be grounds for ejection from tournament and premises.
Format: Seeding for entries received by Nov 15th , double elimination tournament.
Awards: Medals 1st thru 4th place, Outstanding wrestler trophy for each division for Friday Only.
Outstand Wrestlers will be determined by 1st most falls, if tied 2nd accumulative times of falls
Admission: Adults $6.00, Children $3.00
Divisions: Periods- 1,1,1 plus OT.
Bantam 8 & Under- 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70 & 90
Midget 9 & 10- 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 90 & 110
Junior 11 & 12- 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 102, 115 & 140
Schoolboy 13 – 15- 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 107, 115, 122, 130, 150 & 180 (NO High
School)
Periods- 1.5,1.5,1.5, plus OT.
Cadet 9th & 10th Grade- 95, 103, 112, 119, 125, 130, 135, 140, 145, 152, 160, 171, 189, 215 & 285
