Really, Crete's not big enough...I thought they would be....I hate this AAA crap...:( Well then that makes him the favorite along with whoever Montini sends out at 119...:D

I agree with both points you make.
Tate will be tough at 19 and I hate 3 classes.
It wouldn't have been bad for dual team but 1 class for individual is what
I believe in.

I agree, this AAA messes everything up and too confusing. The main thing I see is that for an extra class it doesn't give the winner of a weaker class as much of a sense of accomplishment. It's still saying a lot, but there will always be the what if and people questioning it. Can't believe it got voted in, shouldn't fix something that wasn't broke! Makes me wonder if it will remain that way for now on.

Twist, a friendly little gentlemens bet. We know Tate is AA, so that leaves you with 3 picks. I say not 1 OF THOSE GUYS ENTERS REGIONALS AT 119. My 3 guesses would be Surber, Oster, & D. Brown. This could be the weight everyone drops to with the possibility of Ramos, Morrison, Farmer & Dardanes at 125.

Agree, but the what if will go both ways.
I agree that AAA will be tougher to make it to state, but AA will have more than it's share of top contenders at the show.

take a look at possible/probable 119 AA as an example:

Alan Tate
Seth Bonic
Kent Williams
Chris Williams
Ali Ragan / Zane Richards
Jed Lightfoot
Trevor Jauch ?
Joe Roth ?

Loss of competitors like these weakens the higher class as well.

I 100% agree with that. Thats part of the prob. The list you just showed were place winners and definitely ones on the list for this year. Too much of a breakup.

Twist,

Did you add Jackson here only because he was a twister? He was barely a .500 wrestler last year (13-11) who qualified through a VERY weak regional/sectional series. Going by his summer wrestling weight he also weighs like 150 right now. Those other three wrestlers were a combined 72-15. Looking at those four names reminds me of kindergarten when the teacher would give me a sheet of paper with 3 squares and a circle on it and ask me which one does not belong out of the group.
