In oder what I think

1.Mahomet Seymour-Have always been a dominant team in the state, but this year they are looking as tough as ever!

2.Bloomington-They beat Mahomet in a dual, but a tournament is different. I think it's not so much the good guys these two teams have (Alot), but the kids that qaulify and only win a match or two. It's going to come down on that, and pins.

3.Dekalb Clinton Rosette-A good majority of last years excellence has passed on into this team. Waters I think will win it, and they could have a few placers and some kids that will win a match or two.

4.Minooka-They did beat Dekalb by 1 in the Dekalb tournament, but I think there best shot at an individual state champ is Bokoski, who I think will make the finals, and will get beaten by Maldanado. I can think of three kids that can make the finals right of way thought. Bokoski,Warzyinski, and Alberico. 2nd,2nd,2nd.

5.Mt.Zion-Alot of kids started young in the IKWF. They did show something at Channahon. The Team results doesn't do any justice though. 4/5 Kids won in the finals. Not a big team wich is why the only took 4th at channahon, but they are solid at 85, 95, and up to 119.

6.Darien Eisenhower-I don't see a state champ from them, but are they loaded. Shcramm, Blair, Perez, Umer, Coffey, and Majorado. Those are their placers. They're going to have to make up with points with Wenmouth out but they did have 16 qaulifiers. Lets not forget there performance at AVM either.

7.New Lenox-Always tough. Great dual team, they are'nt as tough tournament wise. I don't see a champ, but I see kids placing and kids advancing to the qaurters. Burke, Seliga, Casey, Damiani, Ducharme.

8.Harvard-Qaulifiers that will win some matches. They look better than last year. Sergio will place, I don't think he'll win it. They could have 2-3 placers.

9.Wilmington-I can see three finalists, and two champs (Maybe three if Vanduyne can get it together). Dingillo is just a Bull, he's tough. Vana is the other kid I can see winning. Bailey is going to place I believe also. Again Vanduyne with his arm, and Tirevolds tough, but I wouldn't be suprised if Vanduyne won. Murphy can make the finals also, but mansfield is tough. I'm going to watch that match.

10.AVM-They have a returning state champ that is going to get some pins along the way. Frederick has a shot at placing at 126. Tetti can win some matches also by pins. Little brooks could win a match maybe.

Well there you go. Let me know what you think. This was my first time ranking teams and I just looked at performances and guessed with qaulifiers.

How can you give Darien the top spot? Have they even won any tournaments? Sure, Lake Zurich and Darien both have 16 qualifiers but I don’t see any how you can rate them that high. Don't be surprised if Mt. Zion with only 8 qualifiers beat one of your top two.

These are the top teams:

Mahomet Seymour-several quality kids that will place and some that will win a few matches.

Bloomington- not as many quality kids but they have the numbers to make up for some lower places.

Mt Zion-5-6 very good kids. The bigger the tournament, the better they will do

DeKalb Clinton Rosette- Have a few good kids that should do well. They also have good numbers

Lake Zurich North- Numbers do help but, how tough was their Sectional? What tournaments have they won? They did beat DeKalb Clinton Rosette in a dual.

New Lenox Liberty-Has 13 kids and should do well.

Darien-Have a few good kids and the numbers to make a run at it but, they cant even place top three at 16 team tournaments.

Coal City- Will do well at a big tournament. They don't have a lot of kids this year but the ones they have will do well.
