Am I reading Providence's schedule correctly? It seems to say they are wrestling @ St Ed's Ohio. Is this true? A dual or a tourny? Anyone know for sure??? Seems like a long way to go for just a dual, albeit against a great program, doesn't it?

yes they will be going there saturday. it is like a dual tournament, but doenst count as one. there are usaully 8 teams there. nequa valley wrestled in it last year.
CORRECTION FROM INSIDER: Wadsworth did not scratch the St Edward Elite Duals as originally reported. However, the event is still down to four teams. It will be contested as a “super dual”, where each team will wrestle two of the other teams. The schedule slates the following matches: Wadsworth OH v Providence Catholic IL, Wadsworth OH v Claymont OH, St Edward OH v Providence Catholic IL, St Edward OH v Claymont OH
Key wrestlers:
103- Eddie Klimara (Providence Catholic), Alfredo Gray (Wadsworth)

This is actually a very fun event. A great gym witational level teams in a dual format. Mt Carmel went in 2005 and it was nice to be in a gym where the focus was on St Ed's vs Blair. Providence kids will gain a lot from this situation. Besides the great wrestling there will be TV cameras, reporters everywhere, internet coverage on themat.com, etc.
