Any predictions on the big duel between Harvard and Stillman Valley this weekend? It involves the #3 and #4 teams in the state!

Should be an excellent duel. It's interesting that Stillman Valley's strength is the low to middle weights, while Harvards' seems to be the big guys. SV needs wins at 119 (Benesh) and 140 (Johnson) to have any shot, as Harvard will pick up a ton of points from 171 on up.

As I said...they may not be correct. I had somebody there writing down scores and also watching her own son wrestle on JV. As I stated, i'm gonna try hard to get all the names and correct scores posted by late tonight...Sorry again

Where was Haffy at 215 for the meet. I firmley believe that there would hace been a 12 point swing with him pinning, and that would have gave Harvard the dual. Any resons that I do not know about to why he din't wrestle?

Stated he was in Minnesota visiting 2 D-II colleges. He has another college visit day coming up to Penn. Not sure if that will effect any other scheduled meets.

215 ARRIAGA (SV) OVER SCHUTT 1-0
I firmley believe that there would hace been a 12 point swing
Even if Harvard would have pinned at 215, it could not have been more than a 9 point swing, because the Stillman wrestler won by decision, not by pin.
And all these "coulda woulda shoulda" scenarios are sort of in vain anyway. Stillman has a pretty good wrestler at 112 that was not available either.
It was a great meet. It's a shame that of these 2 and Dakota, only 1 will make state, as they are all worthy.
