For those of you who are interested in keeping up with your skills, but cannot make it into your schools during the summertime, Sheridan Park in Chicago and the Chicago Park District will be having open mat beginning this week, Tueday and Wednesday nights from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm (times and days may change slightly after this week). There is a one-time fee of $10 for all wrestlers and that fee is good for as many days as you plan on attending, whether that is one day or every day. We'd like to have as many kids as possible show up and the park district is interested in possibly having a one day tournament on August 20 to ring in the new school year and the upcoming season depending on the interest we receive. All are welcome to come regardless of where you live.
