It was a sad day in Illinois wrestling and the Rockford area particularly. With less than a week before freestyle state, no more than 30 wrestlers were willing to come and see 2008 Olympic Champion Henry Cejudo. Don't get me wrong, the kids that were there got a lot of one on one time with Henry. I was told today this was the lowest number of kids that have ever been to his clinic. It's too bad that our state, which is suppose to have a strong wrestling community, was unwilling to learn from and enjoy the opportunity to spend the day with such an exceptional young man.
