Fanthorpe is listed...in the kid's section. I agree he needs to move up to the High School list at least.
How does Dergo make the list if those are truly his only qualifications?

It's nice to recognize people but you have to be consistent...several names with none or one state championships while Fanthorpe and S. Reynolds don't make the list?

Before everyone starts to critic the HALL of FAME list as far as who's on and who's not, who's won this or that or even where they are on the list, a couple of notes. It was my suggestion to the admin. that he bring the H. of F. back because I see no where in Illinois where wrestlers are recognized, so why not here.
1. The admin. just re instated the list and is really just picking it up from where the last owner of the board left it. If someone was voted on in a certain area like grade school there was no provisions for moving them to another area. Something to consider but as long as their accomplishments are listed it should be fine. I don't think winning a state championship(or more than one) was a criteria with the last administration of this board as far as making the H. of F. I don't see the current admin. removing anyone who was already on the list, that would be very low class.
2. Anyone can nominate someone. If you look at the instructions on the H of F page you can nominate Sean Reynolds or whoever and leave it up to the illinoismatmen.com admin to decide if they should be installed. I am positive with Sean Reynolds list of accomplishments it should not be a problem.
All of the current H. of F.'s stats are not listed. It is just a brief synopis of each wrestler. The admin. is still trying to gather info on old and new wrestlers. If you have something positive to contribute then submit it. If you have something negative to contribute, just keep it to yourself.

If you think someone should be added to the list, please Contact Us (http://www.illinoismatmen.com/forum/sendmessage.php) with his (or her) accomplishments. If you notice any incorrect or missing accomplishments for the wrestlers already in our Hall of Fame, please send them as well.
As Twist said, I just cleaned up and re-posted Jim Moriarty's work. For those of you that don't know, Jim founded and ran this website for several years before I came along. Twist has been very helpful by providing corrections and updates to the current H of F. I have also received some corrections, updates, and new submissions by email. Keep the information coming! Remember, it's not MY Hall of Fame; it's OUR Hall of Fame.
