Josh McCarty will be entering his first season with the Rochelle Hubs Wrestling Program as head coach after a year as an RTHS assistant wrestling coach. Coach McCarty formerly taught PE at Bloom Trail High School, and prior to coming to RTHS he taught PE at Hoopeston High School.

Previous coaching experience includes:

One year as an assistant coach at North Central College
One year as head freshman coach at Bloom Trail High School
One year as head coach at Hoopeston Area High SchoolJosh attended Lincoln Junior College where he received an Associates Degree while wrestling. He then transferred to North Central College, earned a Bachelor of Arts, and became an NCAA Division III National Qualifier and CCIW Conference Champion.

Josh attended high school at Byron High School. As a Tiger, Josh participated in wrestling for four years and was even a pole-vaulter on the high school’s track team. In 1995 Josh was an IHSA Class A 125# State Champion and a member of his team's Class A State Championship wrestling team. The following year he was a Class A 125# IHSA State Runner-up and also a member of his team's IHSA Class A State Qualifying wrestling team.
