From the Mark Johnson interview, I learned that Sean Reynolds is not currently enrolled at the University of Illinois, but rather is attending the Community College at Parkside (in NW Champaign). I'm just curious if Sean works out with the Illinois team (I have no idea if that is kosher) and if he is going to compete unattached at the Missour Open. Any (reliable) information is appreciated.

I highly dobut Sean is working out with U of I this year. Its mainly a NCAA rule that all participants in the room have to be cleared by the NCAA to be in there and it is a insurance liability for the school and NCAA as well. The insurance part being the biggest reason, its a big issue if a non team member is in there and gets hurt and has a worst case of being carted out on a strecher. That probally the biggest reason why he can't be in there. Althiugh it is possible for him to once in a while to sneak in a get a few roll arounds in with work out partners when no one is really there and there isn't a "offical" practice going on.
