When you win by these scores, can't you find a more competitive venue rather than waste your wrestler's eligiblity? You might have a trophy for the day, but it seems a waste as far as wrestling goes

So we're here to promote wrestling right? Ok, good, for a second I thought we were here to slam teams.

I did forget to add congrats for the frosh soph win at the Byron tournament, that is a one of the tougher tournaments in the state and does not get the notice it should. And you are right, I made an assumption that you guys always won this tournament by 60 point plus margins if its normally closer than that and this was a freak year, then I take back my comments

East Troy does have 3 ranked wrestlers in Wisconsin's DII.

I was not questioning that score, The East Troy score looks like it was a great match, I was questioning going 54-2 in matches against the other four teams. If those kind of scores happen every year, I am still kind of confused how that promotes the sport, versus simply padding a record. Again, if this was not typical, and its normally closer matches, I do give credit to Harvard for the wins

Trust me this was an off year by all the other teams. If memory serves me right, South won this two years ago, and East Troy won it a few more years ago. When I was in High School, it was the 2nd best tournament that was on Harvard schedule right after their own 16 teamer. Every tournament has a down year or so. Trust me, Coach Haak DOESN'T look for tournaments that are going to "pad" his record. The wrestlers "pad" the records themselfs for going out on the mat and wrestling 6 minutes of intensity.

Crystal Lake South usually has a pretty decent wrestling program. I was surprised to see the score of their dual vs Harvard. Who got second in the tourney?

South usually does have a decent wrestling program however 2 yrs ago we had 11 starting seniors leave our team and now have a bunch of inexperienced young guys.
