did kris argue wrestle marty engwall this year?..if so, who won and what was the score. also, why is argue so underrated? he beat engwall last year in the semis and has dropped down to 145. why is he still listed at 152? please respond

They haven't wrestled yet this year. Providence and Mt. Carmel traditionally have their dual after CCL. Also with Mt. Carmel not wrestling at Geneseo they had no opportunity to wrestle then. I Am hoping that Argue will wrestle 145 at CCl because last year they had 3 great matches with each other. Looking at how they have wrestled this year, they are clearly the two best 145 in state. That being said, Scott Wallace(HS) has been almost as dominating. We may have a better idea how things will look a state at 145 after CCL and DGN sectional.

thanks for your reply! do you think argue would have a tougher match with engwall at 145 or reynolds at 152? just curious. i have seen reynolds just dominate kids with his strength and wondered he compared or would match up with argue....why is argue so underated for a guy who took second last year in state?

Did they change the rule or isn't Argue recertified at 160? I mean, I didn't think that you could wrestle up two weight classes without recertifying.

Or is it that if you certify at 145 you can wrestle 152 and 160 whenever and then go 145 at state?

Bizarre system. But as far as I know, the rules say he can't go 145. Not that I care, by the way. But I'm wondering.

Von Coach: Khrisweighed in at 152 so he was able to wrestle at 160. Had he weighed in at 145 and wrestled up 2 weigh classes at 160 then he would be recertified automatically.

Mr Interested: Khris is a little underated but when you win that takes care of everythingelse. The 145/152 contenders know who he is and with MC's schedule they face a lot of tuff teams so in the end he will get noticed at the right time. Besides the ultimate recognition is on the top step in Champaign.
