Southside, as in Interstate-80 and Route-30...
Even on to days notice the Little Celtics were able to roll threw the Central Chicago/South Chicago team sectional. Little Celtics are solid in the upper weights and loaded in the lower ones. Orland Park will hang with most clubs and should beat a lot of others. Vittum is not the Vittum of last year. Altho, Vittum finished 3rd last year at the team sectional and also finished 3rd at team state. Order of finish from Wednesday, 1. LCWC 2. OPP 2. Vittum

Who's in and whos' out from the North/West. Is Rock Island in again this year? What about Crystal Lake. Do they have enough biggers weights to make a ran at it? Will Harlem be the team to beat up there? Someone, anyone fill us in on what's going on up there...

I hear Martinez Elite, Villa-Lom and Arlington have their sectional Sunday. Martinez is the 2X defending State champs. Can Arlington give them a run for their money? Does MArtinez Elite really have any "holes". They were without entries in the upper weights at the Midwest Classic and the Little Celtic Elite. With Rasche, Uccardi, Ramos and Stenberg bonus points will be there for them. Look for Arlington to make some noise. Prediction time: 1. MFVE 2. Arlington 3. Vill-Lom

The South will rise again...sir. Edwardsville, Granite City, Murphysboro and Collinsville have their team sectional this weekend too. I don't know why but, I think Edwardsville wins that one. The Lunn boys are tuff as nails. I think the South is due for a good showing this year too. Maybe Edwardsville or Granite City will crack the top 3 at state this year. Strength of the Southern teams, upper weights. They alwasy seem to have tuff kids at the upper weights. I could use some biscuits and gravey now...

-OR Boggess vs. Larson(OPP-130)
-Gonzales(MFVE-138) vs Duefel(LCWC-130)
