Florida has the individual power, but it's balance that should carry Illinois to its first team title of the week.

Illinois leads Florida, 66-56, going into the finals. If Florida wins every match and Illinois loses every one - not likely to happen - the two teams would share the title, since Florida has 10 All-Americans. So one Illinois win - or one Florida loss - would give Illinois the title alone.

Nkosi Moody (98), Zane Richards (125) and Jahwon Akui (171) are in the finals. Florida has six finalists...and 56 points with just 20 wrestlers. So they'll probably average over three placement points per entry. Not bad.

Bryan Medlin was presented with the Cadet Greco-Roman National Coach of the Year award prior to the finals. Well deserved.
