Lukanich

I saw Lukanich wrestle a sophomore from York yesterday, and I couldnt believe my eyes...Lukanich couldnt turn him, and he ended up only getting a major...what was shocking to me was that out of frustration he seemed to try and punch the York kid, and when all was said and done he threw his headgear like a little girl...HE WON THE MATCH!!! Thats the kind of attitude that makes me sick, and happy to know that he will not take home a state title.

listen, it's completly understandable that he was upset. It's happened to me before too. this is the situation - Everyone knows thats its going to be a close dual meet and every point counts. Lukanich is a top ranked wrestler and the other kid had one job : DON'T GET PINNED so he balls up on bottom and does nothing. Its very frustrating to wrestle like that.

I can understand he was disappointed that he was unable to do his job...but the ref awarded 2 stalling points in the firsat minute and a half of the match, so there was no balling up...Lukanich was throwing punches..and under no circumstances, even when he was unable to do his job, should that happen, and should he be throwing headgear, and stomping off the mat..I think it is uncalled for, from anyone.
