Advice on locating a college in need of a 200 lbs wrestlers?

Is there a database somewhere that identifies which schools maybe in need of a freshman wrestlers for 2006/2007? or a database that has all the names and addresses of the Div I, II, III coaches to contact?

Decide what schools are of interest to you, look at each schools website many have recruitment forms for potential wrestlers to fill out and outline there accomplishments.

All schools have websites and athletic sites that outline the coaches and how to email them....

You didnt say if this was for you or your son or another family member, but whatever the case you have to sell yourself, if the grades are there go to ncaa clearinghouse.org they list all div I and II schools since those are the only schools that can provide athletic schlorships, DIV III are more creative and if they want you they will find academic money for you if you need it....if the grades are good apply to the NCAA clearinghouse and get certified....send out some emails and recruitment emails to the coaches...you might be surprised how many will call you...good luck!
