The final score was 29-29, and yes, Bloomington won
on the 6th criteria,
Asterick attached: Tim Gleich, the 145lb ranked starter
for Marist, all-american freestylist in fargo last year
did not wrestle a match all day due to the 10 stitches
he sustained in the match with Engwall thursday, so there
is little to no chance that Hale would have majored him much
less teched him like happened to the backup that wrestled.
Also, the Marist coach admitted a few lineup chances that
should have been made in the upper weights if he
had to do it over again....
Not taking a thing away from Bloomington, who has some
very fine wrestlers, and I am sure they will perform very
well in the state tourney, but those points needed to be
clarified....
