hey yall, does anyone have any info at all about frshman sophmore state? :confused: like info about this year, or how it was run last year? the regionals, and sectionals? Im a freshman and am planning on going this year, thanks. :)

Depending on what school your from depends on which F/S Regional you wrestle in. South Chicago teams and many of the teams around my area are wrestling in the Regional we are hosting. Manteno High School will host it on Saturday Feb. 26th. Registration starts at 7, weigh ins start at 8, and wrestling should start at 9:30 or 10:00. More information to come. Anything else you want to know? IF you name your school, I can give you a good idea which regional you are going to be at based on last year's information.

Last year Plano Traveled to Neuqua Valley for the regional and Hinsdale for the sectional.

any info at all about fresh-soph state on how to sign up this year? I know im in the Nequa Valley regional, Hinsdale sectional, but... what should I expect? How is it run? Where to signup? :confused: . thanks :)

What is the criteria for wrestling in this? Can you have wrestled in the varsity level for the Regionals or sectionals? Never been a part of it in Fulton, just curious.

Of course the obvious is you have to be a Freshman or Sophmore. One of the others is that you didn't qualify for 2005 Individual State Tournment. If you finished fourth at sectionals you can still wrestle in Fresh/Soph. State series. If your team quailfied for Team State you can still wrestle in the series. Also it doesn't matter if you wrestled Varsity or JV. This was how it was last year. I don't know if their will any changes from last year. Hope this helps you out.

Your regional is in Peoria on Saturday, Feb 26. The sectional site has not been announced, but I've heard a rumor it might be in Mahomet.
