I think that Mansfield takes Ernst this time. The only question is how Jared takes losing...:p

He went up to help out a teammate? Do the kids in Mt. Zion get to pick their own weight classes, or is the coach in charge?

The explanation that makes most sense to me is that the coaches thought having Mansfield at 126 was the best way to score points. The final match ended up being close (1-3), so it almost worked.

watson certified at 112 and so did walters and they can only go up one class and down none so there for wed have someone in the same weightclass so zack being the better of em all he went up to help a team mate.

MTZ 185...
I'm not going to argue with you, but what was with the rumor that the MTZ coaches had several bump up that were beat by M-S wrestlers at our dual? Just rumor or did that hold any weight?
About the Mansfield match with the Coal City kid in the 126 finals...it was a good match, but Mansfield appeared to be trying to muscle a kid that was too big to be muscled. And by the way...128 - 118.2 is 9.8 lbs., not 11, or was there a 3 lb. allowance?
;) Do we see your group again before state?

Be careful about making promises. Jared is awesome and I support him 100%, but I wouldn't make promises for him and I doubt he would make that promise either.

There is a fine line between confidence and cockiness. Stick with the first one.
