New instructor in O'Fallon

My son and I just started. I was getting so out of shape I couldn't wrestle for more than 5-10 minutes. Very similar to wrestling. You can win by points or submission. 12 years old-Adult
Not what you see on UFC or Pride. No kicking, punching etc.

I've done bjj for years and i'm glad to see it's getting more popular in the area.
Your wrestling back ground will give you a tremendous advantage over other begginers(take downs and mat body positioning). it takes awhile to get used to working and going to your back. Good luck to you and your son!

What are you paying, if you don't mind telling? I looked at the prices on his website, and they seemed just a tad high.

Even if you paid every three months which is the higher rate it would come out to $6.25 at the most per practice if you went all three days each week.
Mon. , Thurs. , Sat. morning
Those kids wrestling at Purler are paying $80 for 4-5 nights per month. Some do train at other locations but for most its $20 per night.
Come by and watch a practice. The facilities aren't fancy but the instructor is great. Plus you will have a bunch of white belts to beat up on. .........kidding

I take it back. That's not the same guy I was thinking of. I was thinking of the guy who has a dojo in Wolf's Gym over by Bank of America. Ah, I found it - here's the website: http://rmtacademy.com/
