I checked the regional results on the IHSA page and was startled to see some prominent names missing. Since I couldn't make regionals, I had to see who got out. Can someone help out please?
I did not see Winston from Walther Lutheran mentioned.
I did not see Bauer OR Warner from Oregon mentioned.
I did not see Nakashima from Dwight mentioned.
I did not see Gatten from Bishop McNamara mentioned.
What's going on here? Ineligible, disciplinary, injured, or other?

Winston is out with an injury of some kind. Too bad, I liked him.

Gatten lost to kasher from reed-custer in the finals 10-8 i think? i liked that because kasher is the hardest worker i have seen, and really softspoken. hes a good kid and i wish him the best of luck. i also heard that gatten had some dislocation problems with his ankle recently.
nakashima lost twice before the finals.

Gatten got headlocked and ended up losing by 2. Nakashima was up 9-2 and got tossed and pinned. I was watching the match and it looked as if he didn't even try to get off his back.

When Fulton wrestled Oregon the last week of the season, Bauer and Warner were both not on the roster. Word had it that they were done for disiplinery reasons, whatever they may be. Throw Bauer into the mix at the Oregon sectional at 152 and see what kind of mess you have there then.

As far as the missing Oregon wrestlers go....There was an underage party that several oregon wrestlers were at when it go busted. I am not sure which wrestlers were there, but you can kind of figure it out when they didn't wrestle regionals. Just an FYI.
Word on the street is that he only has a couple matches left in him, and he is saving those for the TEAM! Now there is a kid who is selfless!! Good Luck Montini.
