Information I was not aware of:

Kent Williams beat Alli 9-2.

Nick Grehek beat Williams Twice.

Alli and Nick are 1-1.

Should be 1) Grehek 2) Williams 3) Alli

Nicks only loss this year has been to Alli in OT. We will have to watch this closely to see if any changes occur.

Pugh is 2-1 against Bond. Bond won at Mascoutah their last match up. Will have to watch those two. Ranking may need to be reversed.

Again, if results are posted on this board it would be helpful. If results for any team are being posted some place else, please let me know where.

Hopefully this weekend the Holiday Tourney will give us some insight on how the South Rankings are. It will be exciting to watch some big matches from our southern kids mixed in with the Missouri boys. I will be there Friday and Saturday and hopefully I can keep up and post updates on here.

Presswood is at 119
Lowe is dropping to 130
Grant might go 171
Robinson might go 215
Penny might go 215

Wow, 189 is getting a lot easier if Grant, Robinson, and Penny all leave that weight class. Is Stassi going be at 112 or is he dropping?

Mt. Vernon is at a disadvantage because of their scheduling. Also, Lemons got pin by Mezo who is not even on the list and got pinned by Jackson who isn't Edwardsville normal 125 pounder.

*Presswood at 119 is most likely going to be better for him in the long run. It will be interesting to see how well he matches up with Thomas. And how well either of them will do against Bailey from OP this weekend.
*Lowe is smarter going 30 than 35, based on where others are across the state
*I hear that Penny is only briefly hanging around 215, he most likely will drop back down to 89.

Based on what is in front of me, i think 112 is the tough weight to be in. The four wrestlers listed are all tough, it will be very interesting when sectional time rolls around.

Devine pinned Lind from Alton in the first period at Mascoutah at 119.

I really enjoy watching Grahek and Ragan wrestling against each other. They're so closely matched, either one of those matches could have gone either way.

Ragan does have one advantage though - Nick had to uh, adjust his hold, a couple of times, to keep from getting a little too... personal.

It's not fair, I tell you, not fair! She's too good to have an advantage like that!

Where's Colp, Kesler, or Holliday? We have some freshman that might need to be ranked after today too.

I was wondering where Rice of charleston would fall in at 152? ive seen him wrestle a few time once was when he lost to fister last year at sectionals by when he stalled twice and and lost in over time.

seems like the majority of the kids mentioned are AA, which is probably why Herrin wasnt mentioned. But definately can see Holiday and Kessler, and of course some other area kids like Aaron Phemister, Zach Wilson, Brad Cerney, Casey Campbell & also Austin Phemister, just to mention a few. As far as upcoming freshmen, Id like to hear thoughts on that.

The problem could be that alot us do not see many results from teams like Charleston and Mattoon so it would be hard to rank them properly.

I also left off Chance Davidson from Litchfield as possible ranked individual.

Herrin wrestled Union Co, Ky; Dexter, MO; Christian Bros from Memphis; Waterloo; and someone else. 3 wrestlers went 5-0.
They were Casey Colp (SR), Jake Holliday(JR), and Marshall Anderson (FR).

Lil DeVine will face off with presswood on Thursday night....Also lil devine wrestled lind from alton again and beat him in overtime i believe....good match.....Also Hickman placed first at lincoln he looked real good...i think if him and lomax went at it again he would come on top.But Mclaughlin from Murphysboro should be up there...he did well at Mascoutah
