Did anyone notice at the Granite City tournament how well condition the Oak Park wrestlers were. I have to say that they are the most condition team I have ever seen. They just flat out embarrass alot of the wrestlers they face at the Granite City tournament. It was like the first period was close, but the gap keeps getting wider and wider as the match went on. By the third period, the match was out of reach that their opponent were physically and mentally brokedown.

I agree, very well conditioned, had heart, kept bringing the action on, also they were well behaved group of kids. It seems like they have a very well disciplined team.

I don't think that they were so much better conditioned its just that they kept us out of position which made us work harder to get in position which in turn made us look tired and them look very well conditioned.

The Oak Park wrestlers could wrestle at a very high intensity level for the entire match. Most of the reason our wrestlers were in bad position is because they continually worked to set up shots and thus put us in bad position. My understanding they practice twice a day. Name me one team in Southwestern or Southern Illinois that does that almost every day.
