I have been to most of these and have heard about the others...
My top 10 as of right now:
1. Midwest Classic(Tinley Park Bull Dawgs)-Bar none...thee best/toughest kids tournament in Illinois
2.IKWF Kids Open(Peoria, IL)-The Senior Elite and Novice ELite divisions are a preview to Rockford.
3. USAW's Winter National-Held in Danville, IL. Not really much of a national, more like a "regional". IL,IN,MI,MO,WI,IA are where most the kids come from. The tournament does get a few kids that come from a long distance tho.
4. Joe Tholl Elite(Orland Park Pioneers-Marist HS)-Not as big as the Midwest but still a great tournament.
5. Little Celtic Elite(New Lenox, IL)-Behind the other "Elite" tournaments in numbers but a very competitive tournament yet.
6. Bears Bash I(LeMont,IL)-Never been to a bad one. Huge numbers and runs great with good competition.
7. Yorkville's 'Denny Hassert Open'-Heard nothing but good about this tournament.
8. St. Joe-Ogden Spartan Rumble-This tournament brackets Novice Elite and Senior Elite divisions. Palmer Arena is a great facility too.
9. Neuqua Valley Invite(Fox Valley WC)-Year in and year out Fox Valley is one of the top clubs in the IKWF. I hear they run a good tournament too.
10. NIU Huskie Kids Open-Great competition and a great facility. Good tournament to start the year off with.
you did pick ten great ones....would also add Batavia, best trophies I have seen and 700 kids usually, and out by 2 pm
