Of the many State Champions that Stillman Valley has had, were Cody Rudsell and Brian Lantz the only two that went on to wrestle at college?

They are the only that I recall for state champions. Too bad cody didnt stay in school and try to make it back to the mat again, he would have been top notch in the nation. Look for other cardinals to continue in college though as well, even though not state champions. I wrestled for stillman and am now at the university of dubuque, Tom Holder, Tyler Baker, Caleb Walk... These guys havent decided for sure where they will go to school, but all 3 could go to college and compete. Best of Luck to the cardinals this weekend.

Brian Lantz played football in college but did not wrestle at Iowa. There are many others from SV that did go to college on wrestling scholarships. I believe that Mark Johnson (SV's first state champ wrestled in college. Steve Stender and Shawn Babcock also.
