Yeah I don't know what happened. My sophomore year we qualified 4 guys for state and won team regionals but I cant remember much success besides the team going to the team state meet a few years ago. Have they named a new head coach yet? We need to hire a Leyden guy who's not going to run back to his old program.
Hi JJ. I am a graduate of east Leyden class of 93. Did you by chance know my uncle Dave Hornkohl? He graduated in 77. I just wished that the teams I was on was as good as the earlier teams.
No disrespect to Randy. I wrestled both of them in the room at the time. Jim Farina was much stronger. But Randy had the endurance to just pound you into submission. And for that matter, Andy Garret was insanely powerful.
