Matt finished 2nd in state at 160 with a tough loss in triple ot. Very disappointed, but at least is fueled his fire to keep competing in FS/GR. He won the Greco State Championship at 171, and prob would have won the FS as well. But, he lacerated his eyelid in the Greco championship and could not finish in the FS. Hit the weights hard over the summer and put on alot of muscle and excess weight. He weighed 197 on the first day of school, but now weighs roughly 180 and should not have a prob getting down to 170. AJ is weighing 186 and will easily make 182. He broke his ankle 5 days before the first football game. Snapped his fibula. He is going to the doc's today to see if he is released for wrestling. It has been very hard for him watching everybody else compete. I am the HS asst. this year and will get to coach him and his brother and he has been helping me instruct the first year kids. Hope Matt is ready to go. AJ will want to know how he is doing.
