Post your bio and background here...

We had a site member that posted a background bio and it was pretty interesting. Anyone else that is willing to discuss your wrestling (or personal) background this is the thread to do so...

I have attached simular post by South Cider so you can get an idea..

South Cider is not bitter and I'm not a high school coach. For people that want to know who I am. My name is George and and I like to drink (J/K). I have 3 children two boys and a girl and I am divorced. I am a big fan of the CCL but most of my involvement is in the IKWF. I am impressed with coaches like Coach Weick of Br. Rice, Coach Healy of Providence, and Coach Ewinski of Mt. Carmel. I do get bothered when coaches break the rules or go around the rules in some form. I try keep up with the times by talking to coaches of numerous schools. (I.E. Providence, Fenwick, and Br. Rice) as well as parents. For a living, I do Marketing Research for companies.

Hi, my name is Matt Donta. I am now entering my senior year of high school. I am 16, going on 17 (20 days left), and I wrestle and play football for McHenry. I have been playing football since I was in 7th grade, and have been wrestling since my sophomore year. I was introduced to wrestling by Jordan Walsh, who I've been friends with since the beginning of 8th grade. I was also influenced by my cousins, Bernie and Kevin Stott.

After high school, I plan on going into the USMC to be a groundpounder, or the USN to be a Devil Doc for the Marines. After that, I plan on attending college, but I am not sure where. I will decide on that when the time comes.

My hobbies include: eating, sleeping, being lazy, sleeping, eating , graphics work, and pwning noobs faces on games like RTCW, CS:S, and DoD:S. I also am severely addicted to Guitar Hero 2, and am a long time follower of the video game series, Metal Gear Solid. And, I have one cat, that is incredibly fat and lazy. I also have one dog who is 2 and 1/2 years old, and it is always getting in trouble. And farting. The damned dog never stops farting.

My name is Tammi Griffin, I have three children. Like my buddy Amanda, I have one in heaven, Taylor Marie and 2 on earth. Ryan Wright is 20 and Kyle Wright is 17. I've been married to my present husband 3 years, but we have been together over 10. He has two children Neil 30 and Carla 29.

We were introduced to wrestling when Kyle was 5. He was RECRUITED by his football coach. His first team was the Tri-City Braves out of Bremen High School, his coach was Jim Knapp. After 3 years with them we found a club closer to home (walking distance from our home), Mustangs Wrestling Club (Mt. Greenwood)where Kyle wrestled through 6th grade. That off season Kyle discoverd Martinez Elite when he went to a few of the practices in preperation for the Virginia Challenge. He was hooked and Jose became his new coach. He presently wrestles at Marian Catholic High School.

I have been a Chicago Police officer for the past 12 1/2 years, but was a suburban Police Officer before that for a total of 20 years in law enforcement, retirement is not coming quick enough. I have an AA in Criminal Law and have decided to go back to school for my BA, but I am changing my major to education, I want to teach when I retire. I love watching anybody wrestle, baseball/softball, volleyball, boating, water skiing, jet skiing and cruising. We have 3 dogs, Prancer (10 year old Boxer), Blue (7 year old Great dane), Zeus (7 month old great dane) and a Cat.

We plan on retiring in 8 years to Monticello Indiana where we will buy a few acres and own some horse's.

Oh Yea, I am a Die Hard CUBS FAN!

Bio

For those of you who don't know, My name is Gail Rush. I am Clayton's mom. I work part time for some people here in Aledo who raise and show Quarter Horses. We raise a few as well on our little 15 acre farm. My hubby, Rick, has his own concrete business. Clayton has an older brother, Jayson, who is married and made me a grandmother last October, and he also has an older sister, Courtney, who is in the UNITED STATES AIR FORCE and is stationed in Tuscon.
I got my hand in wrestling back in the early 70's. My brother wrestled and was actually one of the first state qualifiers from Aledo. My oldest son wrestled, but we didn't have a club here until Clayton was about 4, Jayson was in 8th grade. I was very involved with IKWF, helping organize the Kids Open for several years and was the assistant sectional director for quite awhile. We really attribute alot of Clayton's success to IKWF and we also wouldn't give up the any of the many friendships we have developed throughout the IKWF years. Oh...I coached Clayton during all his IKWF (got to walk the walk 2 times...it was awesome) and still have my coaches card and bronze certification. I am not shy, probably talk way to much, but I try to choose my battles carefully(only the ones I can win!!) Mike Urwin is my hero (way overworked and underpaid). Mike Powell is my favorite coach, Twist is my favorite poster, and yes, little Clayton Rush is my favorite wrestler to watch!!

I said that I would be one of the first so......

I am Steve Brody. I am currently 46 years old, grew up in Glenview and wrestled at Glenbrook South High School where I graduated from in 1979. I attended Arizona State University where I considered wrestling but quickly realized that involved lots more hard work which I was not motivated to do when confronted with the alternatives Tempe had to offer. After graduating, I became a Certified Public Accountant and worked as a CPA both in private practice and industry while attending law school at Loyola University at night. I graduated law school in 1991 and opened my own practice which is currently located in Crystal Lake Illinois concentrated in family law (divorce, parentage, child custody etc.) and bankruptcy.

I have been divorced for a number of years. I have two children. Sam will be a senior and Zack will be a Freshman at Lake Zurich High School. Sue, my ex wife, also lives with us but she hates wrestling and is rarely seen at the meets or tournaments. However, my girlfriend Marcia loves the wrestling meets. Sam is the only one who wrestles but Zack is at almost all of the meets and tournaments with us. Sam currently works out at Izzy Style and has also worked out at Pinnacle. Both are great places to train. I would recommend either one of these clubs/training facilities. We have traveled all over the country this past year to tournaments including Las Vegas, Virginia Beach, Fargo, Hays KS, Laramie WY, Greensboro NC, and Battlecreek MI. I am going to miss it when Sam is done wrestling.

My Bio

My name is Kyle Rasmussen. I am 17 years old and live in aurora. I first became interested in wrestling when I was in about 5th or 6th grade watching my older cousins participate(one taking 4th @ IKWF state). However, I didn't begin wrestling till i was in 7th grade at Still Middle School. You could say it didn't really start of well considering i had an accumulative middle school record of 6-9 throught 7th and 8th grade.

After that I decided to wrestle my freshmen year at Waubonsie Valley High School. I switched off time on the JV and freshmen team that year compiling a record of about 10-15(give or take). During my summer between freshmen and sophmore year i decided that i wanted to put in the time to get better so competeing was actually fun. That is when, with a little help from my coach i began attending the Overtime School of Wrestling. Sean Bormet, John Kading, and Kerry Boumans I can honestly say are very responsible for the fact that i am actually somewhat of a decent wrestler now. During that summer i went from losing to kids on my team to just completely owning them. My sophmore year i should have made varsity but there are no excuses and i just didn't. I was 30-0 on JV and won a confrence title. Between my sophmore and junior year and got about 60 offseason matches which is always good and also went back to overtime for the summer. My junior year i cracked the lineup at 130lbs. I had a decent year going 15-7, taking 2nd at in the upstate eight confrence, and unfortunatly torn some cartilage between ribs and was unable to compete in the state series. This summer i have gotten 50 offseason matches in thus far and am weighing around 160ish. I hope so wrestle somewehre between 135-145 next year and at least qualify for state.

It looks like the "regulars" are the ones stepping out so I will follow. Most people know that I am Kevin Drendel. I live in North Aurora. My office is in Batavia. I wrestled for Batavia in the mid to late '70's when we began a stretch of 45 dual meets without a loss that ran through my brother's senior year (1981). I also wrestled for two years at Cornell College in Iowa before I put my shoes in the center of the mat to focus on my studies. I spent six years in New Hampshire where I met and married my wife and had two kids, Nathan (21) and Tyler (20). I came back to Illinois to go to law school (NIU). Jonathan (18) was born at the end of the my first year (literally - 12 hours after my last final). Nicholas (14), Ryan (12) and Julia (7) followed. I noticed a lack of wrestling in NH when I was there, and was glad to be back in Illinois where I begain following the local wrestling scene again. I tried getting my two oldest into wrestling. They went to a three week Park District camp my brother ran in Batavia, and they wrestled in two tournaments (Yorkville and Morris) with two other young wrestling nophytes - my nephew (Aaron) and Clint Arlis. I think Clint was about 8. Clint was the only one who stuck with it (and he was as intense in his first wrestling experience as he has been since). Jonathan told my wife he wanted to wrestle several years later, and that launched what has been 10 great years of involvement at a kids level for me. Nicholas followed at age 6. He will be a freshman this fall at West Aurora. My youngest two don't wrestle. When I am not preoccupied by coaching or watching wrestling, I do a lot of fishing. Although I look forward to more fishing, I am already thinking about how much I will miss hanging out in gyms and wrestling rooms all across the State and beyond.

would installing them make the life of the 360 last longer, as we all know thats a dodgy area. Or will it fk up the machine and possibly the hard drive faster.

Will the install just apply to old games but new games as well
