There is a College/open division. 35$ pre-registered w/ a shirt or 25$ pre-registered w/o a shirt. 35$ walk-ups with no shirt.

A Little About Autism & How Our Wrestling Community Can Help

This year more children will be diagnosed with autism than with AIDS, diabetes and cancer combined. Easter Seals & Trinity Services are pleased to announce the partnership with Storm Wrestling Academy to host our 1st Annual “Pinning Down Autism” Wrestling Tournament & Family Fun Fair! The event will be held at the Mpx Elite - The MegaPlex in Homer Glen on Sunday, July 10th. We hope we can count on your support to make this event a huge success.
Facts about the silent epidemic of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD):
-Once occurred at 1 in 10,000, it now affects 1 in every 110 individuals nationally, making it the fastest-growing serious developmental disability in the u.s. outpacing childhood cancer, multiple sclerosis and cystic fibrosis combined;
-67 children are diagnosed per day; A new case is diagnosed almost every 20 minutes;
-Autism prevalence is up 600% in the last 20 years and will continue to rise at the rate of 10-17% annually.
Our goal is to help raise funds to provide critically needed support to two local community autism organizations while enjoying one of the last off-season folkstyle tournaments of the year.

We are happy to announce that Brandon Precin will be running a FREE clinic
following weigh-ins on July 9th for all registered wrestlers. We will also have awesome custom medals, raffles, silent auction, a family fun fair including bounce house, clown, games, photo booth & vendors & prizes for team & individual wrestlers that bring in the most donations.

We plan on blowing this thing up and making it huge! We really want to let our community members know what a great sport we are involved in & that we do give back! Wrestler's are conditioned to take challenges & overcome adversity & obstacles, let's bring to the autistic community the strength of our wrestling community!

TrackWrestling is being utilized and pre-registration is open.

We are still in need of many volunteers from officials to table workers, if you or anyone you know would want to volunteer in anyway, please send me an email at stormwrestlingacademy@yahoo.com. Please consider donating some of your time to help with this great cause, bring the whole family and make it a special time! Thanks in advance for all of your support & help!

Might be a dumb question but I saw on the registration form you need an "USA Wrestling" card...is the IKWF the samething? If not, where/how do you get a USA card?

thanks.

IKWF and USA cards are different. You should be able to purchase them at the tournament.
