Consistent moves

What are some moves you guys think works consistently....even on top notch guys???

Basics..

A solid single or double leg, when done right, works on ANYONE...When you see the best wrestlers get taken down, you can bet, it was because someone executed a solid set up, followed by a good single or double...I know it is boring, but it works...If not...old school moves, such as ankle picks, are also as solid as they come....Cael Sanderson, used an inside ankle pick--AT WILL-- to go to 179-0 in college, as well as on his way winning the gold medal...

i agree with you on that...I also think the duck under/slide by is a very effective move. I saw it down state this year many times.

Cael Sanderson went 159-0 in college.

From bottom, the switch. The standing switch was very effective as well. They are also REALLY SIMPLE moves.

I couldn't agree more...the best wrestlers, are not the ones that know the most moves...they are the ones that use the moves they know, the most effectively... And the basic wrestling holds, the foundation, will win more matches for a wrestler, then advanced holds.

the switch and the standing switch wont work on good wrestlers... and if it does then there not a good wrestler..

i think he was thinking of Gable who was like 178-1 or something like that.
