Tirapelles apparently out as coach(es) of Clovis for season

Clovis High School Coach Stephen Tirapelle and his son, unpaid assistant Adam Tirapellem, suspended for season according to the following. No substantiated reasons were given for this odd turn of events.

I've met Adam a handful of times and occasionally communicate with him. To say I think he is an intelligent, stand-up guy is an understatement. Over the years, Adam has written some of the most thoughtful posts on the cesspool.com.

Something seems fishy.

I'm not sure if I want to read the article. I am a huge fan of the whole Tirapelle crew and hope that everything works out well.

The defending State Wrestling Champion Clovis High Cougars start their season tomorrow at the Clovis West Shootout… but they'll be without their longtime Head Coach Steve Tirapelle and his top assistant and son adam. Both have been suspended for the season.
The Tirapelle’s were given the news on Thursday.
CBS47 has learned Dan Kaiser from the Clovis Unified School District told Steve Tirapelle that he committed multiple violations but did not give specifics.
The buzz around is that recruiting violations were committed but Steve Tirapelle told CBS47’s George Takata that he and his son have done nothing wrong.
Coach Tirapelle said, “We have all put in countless hours, over the course of several years, to build the championship program that we have today- nothing more. We do not deserve to have that taken away because we have committed no wrong”.

Clovis High has thrived under Steve Tirapelle with two state titles this decade in 2003 and 2008. Clovis has had eight top five finishes in the state and five Valley titles under Tirapelle.
This would have been his 12th season as Cougars head coach. Adam was entering his 5th season as an assistant. Adam is not a paid employee of Clovis Unified.
The Cougars will be coached by Assistant Ben Holscher on an interim basis.
Steve Tirapelle will continue to teach physical education at Clovis High but was told to stay away from the wrestling team. He is not even allowed to attend any meets.

The Clovis community is very upset. Supposedly, the Tirapelles have not yet been informed of the allegations and were suspended while the investigation is in progress.
