I think there were several wrestlers from the Byron sectional that have the potential to place that never got the chance. I believe if Byron advanced 4 wrestlers to state 3 or 4 of the 4th place finishers would place at state.

Ryan Stout (Sr) Genoa Kingston would have had a shot at placing. He had Denning beat untill the final seconds of the match. I'm told that he beat Sean Parvin earlier in the year.

Brady Schlueter (Jr) Dakota would have had a good shot at placing, He was dominating Sean Parvin 8-2 when He was caught in a spladel

Tad Hawley (Jr) Stillman Valley only lost to Dillon Cowan 4-3

Jack Apple (So) Dakota

Zach Patterson (Jr) Stillman Valley

Mike Andrukaitis (So) Rockford Luth.

Branson Cain (Jr) Riverdale

Derrick Watson (Jr) Stillman Valley

All these wrestlers and a few others would have done well in the third and fourth place match.

Add Michael Priess from Winnebago, Cal Breedlove,(beat Anthony Myrick who took 4th) and Mitch Mallary to your list as well.

Also quite a few 140 lb wrestlers like
