My name is Jeff Johnson. Is wrestled at Leyden for coach Tim Ruettiger. I graduated in 1993. I wrestled at 189. I currently live in Middleton, Wi. I am married to my beautiful wife Dorothy. We have 3 sons together. Zachary who unfortunatley only leaved 13 days. He was born 13 weeks premature. Then there is Brandon who is 10. He was diagnosed with autism when he was 2 years old. He is the reason we moved to theMadison area. The programs at the time were better unforunately and we had to uproot. Then there is my 5 year old Gregory. My greates memory was just wrestling for coach Ruettiger. I've never told him this but we was like a second father to me. My greatest moment actually on the mat was an 8 second pin I had against Willowbrook. Using a cowcatcher.

Hi, I just joined the forums and found this. I am 39 years old and I have a son who currently wrestles for Hampshire High school, he has only been wrestling for 2 years and I have to say that I am very proud he took it up freshman year and is sticking with it. I starting wrestling when I was 8 at my local park district in Chicago. I wrestled in high school (Chicago - Curie) and continue at my park district (Cornell then West Lawn). I hurt my knee senior year (from football) and that pretty much ended my athletic career. I went to college (Illinois Institute of Technology) and became a scientist at a pharmaceutical company in northern Illinois. Now that my son is wrestling, I get to watch as a parent and I remember all of my memories growing up and I am considering myself lucky that I am getting to see him build memories of his own.
