I would say for an open this was pretty well ran. There was some very competitive wrestling and the competition was very good for a late off season tournament. Only real thing that bugged me was that the bracketing was not what I would have expected from a tournament that sells its self as the top notch tournament. Seeding was not very good if there was any. Watched a wrestler in a 8 man bracket (7 wrestlers) get the bye and proceed to get first round pinned and major in his only two matches but be awarded 4th place with the worst record of the 7 wrestlers. If you are awarding 4 places and claiming great competition then you probably need to in a bracket like this seed it. Would have been much fairer for the rest of the wrestlers. But that was the only thing I saw wrong the whole day. Ran smoothly everyone knew where to go and what to do.
