Hawthorn North, Deerpath and Caruso will be strong schools coming from Lake County...Mike Poetta's new Program and Cohens judo/wrestling club are assets for the training and development of our northern Illinois boys....

Hawthorn North and DeerPath have great coaches that have build their program. Those coaches of those programs are not helped by any of those programs. Coach Trummel (DeerPath) and Coach Carlsen (Hawthorn North) our the true development of their own programs and the Northern boys.

Coach Count....Geick will be on the podium this year and I think his off season club may have something to do with that......In past years some DeerPath kids have also had outside off season work..... that takes nothing away from coach Tremmel or yourself.... The great thing is that our Lake County kids have an avenue to get additional training.....

Im an ex coach. As a parent my sons never had club or other offseason wrestling. They both qualified for state three years and my sons got two medals. I wish they had that chance to do offseason when they did iesa. It would of made the difference of a higher place for my kids. Hard work pays off.
