I hear ya James. Like I said, I would never defend anyone until I knew the whole truth. It still amazes me that Sandusky's status at the school would give him a free pass on doing this stuff for so many years. I guess I will never be able to understand how not turning him in would be someones best option. this case really bothers me to the core because of the lack of basic sense, not common sense, basic sense of doing the right thing.

Paterno found to be culpable. It will be interesting to see how the students, etc act when the statue comes down. Really, you cannot leave the statue up.

It will be real interesting to see what is going to happen to Penn State as a university after this. Kids will still go there for sports to compete at D1 level, but will PSU get the kids there use to getting, the blue chippers, to keep those programs at the level there at. I am sure there are many parents out there who wouldn't want their kids to go there anymore, and the PSU image will be tarnished forever. Are they going to paint over Joe Paternos picture now, take down the statue, and erase Paternos name from the place completey. It seems if they are really going to move forward and start new thats what they will have to do IMO.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Big Ten doesn't suspend the program or kick it out of the conference

The plan is to leave the statue up but to turn it so that it is looking the other way.

Yes I like a good pun. How about they leave the statue but they "cover it up"
