there isnt an ihsa match limit per say, just 21 duals and 4 tournaments heading into the regional
Exactly. And you better believe they have guys on the Montini staff making sure all key players are eligible for team state without going over dual or tourney limit.
Can Marmion Mt. Carmel Lockport or anyone else challenge Montini?

I heard that about the 1985 Bears and 2010 Marmion Cadets too. How did that work out? Too many variables to reasonably predict results for a couple of years out.

Never heard about 2010 marmion being a dominant team they couldn't beat montini. I made the same comment on here about OPRF a few years ago and it worked out for them. Not saying montini can compare to that oprf teams but the gap between montini and others is just as big as it was with them.

Nope..

Nobody in state this year. Next year Mt Carmel and Marmion will be back ready for war at the top level. That will be a fun one.

The 85 Bears won Super Bowel 46-10 and set numerous records including least points given up in playoffs. So it worked out O.K!

No one said 2010 Marmion was unstoppable, they said they can challenge and they did. Lost by 1 point to state champs.
