Please attend a rules interpretation clinic. It will answer so many of your questions.

I would love to.

And clearly should.

Not sure why those aren't mandatory.

Level 1 or level 2 clinics are mandatory for officials and optional for coaches.
Rules interpretation clinics - which discuss changes and points of emphasis are mandatory for coaches and officials.

...

Marist is not a CCL school. Hasn't been for at least a generation.

I graduated in 92 and they weren't then.

UTB

The stalling call in OT is kind of insane.
Its brutal on Officials.
It sucks for fans!
I would bet a high percentage of the wrestlers do NOT understand it.
Wrestling needs to simplify.
The kids and coaches work to hard to have a old guy with a whistle trying to make a few bucks and help out decide the best match of a duel.
Its a everybody losses situation & and its BAD for The GREATEST SPORT!!!
IMO

Totally agree. It's confusing for everybody. Personally, I think it should just be whoever scores the first takedown wins. No clock.

While that may sound great in theory, have seen some HWT matches that appear to have gone on for hours without anyone even remotely close to getting a takedown.
